Objective marker

So I sold some kits to a friend of mine and their cat didn't approve. So I've replaced and kits bashed a bunch to do up. Does that mean I will toss this one. Oh heck no, my Scottish blood doesn't allow me to waste. This will become an objective marker

UNPROFOR

The United Nations Peacekeeping force sent to the Balkans had a horrible mission to try and fulfill l. The 1990s has gone down in history as a low mark of these operations due to what was going on in Europe, Africa, Asia. The Cambodian Civil War did end, the Lebanese C General MacKenzies Flak Vest from his time there in the Canadian War Museum ivil War also seemed to end as did the conflict in El Salvador.  However as a young man, I remember seeing the news and wondering how Canadian troops were going to fare. The commanding general Lewis Mackenzie was from Truro, Nova Scotia and I remember reading his book.

DENMARK

I put together a force of infantry in M113 ACVs back when I originally had a Cold War based 1/72 collection mixed in with my 1/87. The group consists of G3 armed troops with the carriers.

I have several kits which were specifically marketed for the period and the conflict which I'll be showcasing.

The British Army

I have a Warrior in 1/72, infantry, trucks and artillery for the period.  And I've been able to watch the British series Warriors.

I have a fairly large 1/72 collection of Cold War Era figures for the 1990s time frame. This was due to my trying to build a 1/72 Cold War collection however I switched to 15mm for that era due to the costs of trying to buy enough kits to make it a go. This page is the recreational game of war games and in no way supports any faction in the horrible events which took place in the former Yugoslavia from 1990-1999. I shall be doing games based on the period using my collection and photos which i have taken in military museums.  Several of friends and coworkers served in the Canadian Firces under UNPROFOR and the later NATO led peacekeeping force Canadian peacekeeper 1990s
